‘Sex slave’ wants Epstein to explain how Prince Andrew allegedly met her

The ‘sex slave’ scandal that exposed pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein

An ex-teen prostitute who claims she was billionaire Jeffrey Epstein’s “sex slave” wants to haul the sex-offender financier into Manhattan federal court to testify in her defamation case against one of his former gal pals.

If approved, plaintiff Virginia Giuffre’s lawyers plan to question Epstein about his alleged role in introducing the then-teen to Prince Andrew, her lawyers said.

At a court hearing Thursday, Giuffre’s lawyers demanded that Epstein be called as a witness in her case, which is against one of his exes, British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.

Giuffre is suing Maxwell for publicly denying that she helped lure Giuffre into Epstein’s harem in 1999, when she was underage and still called Virginia Roberts.

“We are going to have jurors who are going to hear Ms. Giuffre saying she was sex trafficked” by Epstein and Maxwell, lawyer Paul Cassell told the judge. “They are going to wonder, what does Epstein have to say?”

The trial is scheduled to open May 15.

Cassell said he wants to question Epstein about meeting with “Prince Andrew the Duke of York in March 2001 in London.

“On March 9, 2001, did you fly on a private jet from Tangiers to London with Ms. Giuffre and Ms. Maxwell?” Cassell said he will ask Epstein.

Cassell will also question Epstein about flight logs detailing the more than 23 trips Epstein and Maxwell took with Giuffre when she was still a minor, her lawyers said.

Maxwell’s lawyer, Jeff Pagliuca, accused Giuffre’s lawyers of seeking to influence the jury by calling Epstein to the stand knowing he will plead the Fifth Amendment and not speak.

“Mr. Epstein and Ms. Maxwell’s relationship ended over a decade ago. Everyone knows that,” Pagliuca said.

Cassell only wants Epstein “to testify so the jury can see he took the Fifth and you should hold that against Ms. Maxwell,” he said.

A lawyer for Epstein, who served 13 months in a Florida country jail on one charge of soliciting prostitution from a 14-year-old girl, did not return a request for comment.
